They strive to develop strategies that will improve the understanding of the social impact of gambling; promote a responsible approach to gambling; and address the needs of those adversely affected by a gambling dependency.

Gambling Therapy is a global online support service in numerous languages for people that have been adversely affected by gambling. They offer support services via a text based helpline, online groups and forums, email and information on local resources around the world.

Gamblers Anonymous is a worldwide non-profit organisation of people who share the problem of compulsive gambling and work together to solve it.
